Travis Sloneker
I am a web developer, an avid gamer, a husband, a veteran and a pillow for my cat Nikita. I worked in the Air Force for a little over 5 years as an F-16 crew chief, which was extremely enjoyable. I was able to travel the world and visit places like South Korea, Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, England and Singapore. After the military I started going back to school where I met my teacher/boss and began working for him as an intern. I became extremely interested in the type of work he did and eventually was offered a job doing web development. It has been a little over a year now and I can happily say I am extremely pleased with the work environment and the type of work I do.

Today’s Google algorithms rely on more than 200 unique signals or “clues” that make it possible to guess what the user might be searching for. These signals come in a wide variety, such as the terms on a website, the freshness of content, a user’s specific region and PageRank.
